Not all windows are rectangles; sometimes they are curved, round, triangles, octagons, and more! Since all of are glass is custom, we can create art glass for these shapes. These cabinet doors had a tiny sun on the bottom with some rays, but was unfortunately damaged. We designed and made these replacements and boy do they pop!
Place on tempered glass, this is a custom design with lamination and colored glass jewels for a very awesome and dimensional piece - we miss being able to look at it in the Shoppe, but love knowing our art is in our clients home!

What is a transom window?
These type of windows refer to their location above a doors or another windows transom; a beam at the top of the window or door. These windows come in different shapes and custom sizes for the home, business, or whatever type of building it is. These types of higher up windows are great candidates for art glass because their location shows them off well and usually means they will have different types of lighting coming through them throughout the day.
Adding art glass such as sandblasting, cast glass, or stained glass is a great way to show off your style, add any privacy needed, and upgrade your transom windows.

This is a lead and bevel design for the sliding windows over the tub in a bathroom. The frosty looking background texture (Gluechip) keeps things private while still allowing the outside light to come in and illuminate the art. This is a custom design for a client with clean lines and a wonderful bevel cluster in the center of the windows. They can still be opened as well, making art even more functional. Many homes feature door inserts in their front doors, and some have side lites as well, or sometimes it is just a side lite or two. These are great places for stained glass overlay or stained glass. These types of art glass can be created with many different colors, textures, or bevels. Transoms are high up windows - most often above doors or other windows. In general, these are stationary windows that provide light into the home. They are also a fantastic place for stained glass overlay and when the light shines through them, you can see the amazing colors and textures reflected inside the home. In the case of multiple transoms and windows, we can create cohesive matching pieces, or designs that flow from one window to the next.

These birds of paradise stand out against a “glue chip” textured background. The green colors of the leaves have a wonderful, natural look to them and the color of the flowers pop next to them. All of our glass and mirrors are custom made to fit your space, frame, or shape where mirror is needed. We can also polish or bevel the edges for a finished look. Our designers can add glass bevels and lead to the surface for a unique design on your mirror. We can also sandblast designs onto a mirror for a frosted white flower, logo, saying, creature, or whatever our designers can come up with! Combining stained glass and mirrors is also a gorgeous option combining this classic art with or on top of your mirror.
