A Grand Entrance with Art Glass

Many homes feature door inserts in their front doors, and some have side lites as well, or sometimes it is just a side lite or two. These are great places for stained glass overlay or stained glass. These types of art glass can be created with many different colors, textures, or bevels. Our designers can match what our clients already have, whether it is creating a new door insert or side lites to match original pieces. Or, we can create a whole new set that better reflects our clients style.

The front door is the entrance to the home, and we love helping our clients make these entrances grand! Plus, the different colors and textures add as much privacy and obscurity as you would like.

Decorative & Private Door Insert

This is a small door insert that needed a little more privacy. it makes sense to us to add a little more element of design - especially to something you are going to spend time looking at often.

We worked with our clients in creating a geometric but flowing design made with mostly cool colors and a striking bar of burnt orange. Once the design is approved and the colors are chosen, we get to work creating the unique piece!

We love creating one of kind pieces of art, big or small, for our clients - it gives everyone a chance to be creative

Triple Glaze Golden Lead and Bevel Door Insert

This traditional stained glass door insert uses bevels, textured glass, and golden lead lines to create the colorless design. By being triple glazed, tempered glass protects the front and the back of the art glass. This helps protect from breaks and break ins by creating a stronger door insert. The textured glass used here is called Glue Chip and adds some privacy and obscurity to the door. The bevels are clear with some distortion at their beveled edges so you can still peek out at whoever is at your door.

The central bevels are arranged in a way that is reminiscent of a fleur-de-lis, framed by rectangular bevels and textured glass making a very balanced, traditional piece. We love that this design adds art to the home, without tying the home into a particular color. You can get inspired and check out our art glass window page here!
