Art Glass Transoms!

Art Glass Overlay and Stained Glass Transoms are amazing ways to add art to your home. Transoms are windows that are above windows or doors, often in a type of arched shape. Since all of our glass is custom cut to fit, we can create these unique shapes that are perfect for unique art glass. We design and create these amazing glass pieces for our clients and work with them to have a design that matches their home and what they love!

Triple Glaze Golden Lead and Bevel Door Insert

This traditional stained glass door insert uses bevels, textured glass, and golden lead lines to create the colorless design. By being triple glazed, tempered glass protects the front and the back of the art glass. This helps protect from breaks and break ins by creating a stronger door insert. The textured glass used here is called Glue Chip and adds some privacy and obscurity to the door. The bevels are clear with some distortion at their beveled edges so you can still peek out at whoever is at your door.

The central bevels are arranged in a way that is reminiscent of a fleur-de-lis, framed by rectangular bevels and textured glass making a very balanced, traditional piece. We love that this design adds art to the home, without tying the home into a particular color. You can get inspired and check out our art glass window page here!

Peaches and Blossoms on the Branch

PeachesOverlay.JPG

This is an art glass panel we did featuring some refreshing peaches and their blossoms. The background is a clear texture that only lightly obscures the view, giving it a bit of a blur. In a window, you would feel like you were staring past some branches of your nearby peach tree. The blur pops them out from the background and feels really peaceful.

Our designs are inspired b y our clients wants and needs. This includes things from their past, present, home, and their own creative mind. We like taking our art glass to unique levels and create things you made not really see done in traditional stained glass.
