Repair of Unique Stained Glass Window Panels

In the older part of Encinitas, this home was doing a remodel. It had these absolutely uniqe and wild panels from the 70’s that glowed in the light. Unfortunately, one of the panels of this stained glass window installation was a little beat up during construction. We were able to repair it and it was returned to it’s group in the newly updated home where its owners can enjoy it for years to come!

Lighthouse on a Cliff Overlooking the Ocean....

… while a sailboat passes by!

This is a piece we have been working on that has a lot of great details! It will make its home in a vintage frame to complete its classic theme. We love being able to create these scenes of life with a lot of texture and great colors! This piece is inspired by the Cabrillo National Monument area of Point Loma.

We work with our clients are on the overall design, features, and colors. Here we even have a faceted glass piece as the light for the light house which gives it a little pop and some fun dimension. Check out the gallery below to see close ups of the sections and take in the swooping and swirling in the colors!

Before and After Art Glass Crane Window Project

Before, this high window had a view of some power lines and a slice of the California sky. We have replace worse views, but this one called for a custom piece to enjoy and the lighting was perfect for stained glass! Inspired by the beautiful cranes that visit the area, our clients worked with our designers to create this window. Here, two cranes enjoy the water with the beach and setting sun in the background. The swooping lead lines and flowing color enhance the water and give it a feeling of movement.

We work hard to create wonderful glass art that our clients can love for generations!

Stained Glass Sample Pieces

Stained glass seems to date back to the 7th century and often found in monasteries. It is another art with an incredibly long and rich history. Even with new technology, stained glass takes a lot of work a dedication to create and was only more of a challenge back then. We can appreciate all the work gone into the art form because they make many beautiful results.

Now it is much easier to get a plethora of different colors and textures, such as our picture here. Our designers work with our clients in picking and matching colors.

A little fun fact - because of how it is made, each piece of stained glass will be slightly different from another even though there are the same color. There will be a different swirl to the colors, making every finished piece a little unique from others!
